Six New KBCF Funds

Key Biscayne Community Foundation is proud to announce six (6) new funds of recent vintage:

  • The Key Rats Scholarship Fund: Rats?!?! Gross. Naw. This one is for a good cause. The program -- more info about which can be found here (http://thekeyrat.com/) -- benefits children on the Key. A portion of every item sold off that link will go towards the scholarship program. This was founded by Dr. Mike Kelly.
  • Rising Moon Fund: This fund was started by Bill Durham to promote the study and awareness of meditation. For more information, check out their website here: http://www.kbzen.com/intro.html.
  • Library Beaufication Fund: This is a project by local residents to renovate the library's garden area ... to serve as a teaching space about the Key's environment. For more information, you can contact Ceci Sanchez at .
  • Key Biscayne Cuban-American Heritage Fund: The fund recognizes the important role of the Cuban community in the development of the Key -- and seeks out projects that preserve and advance that legacy.
