Key Biscayne Community Foundation announce new board members.

Enrique Falla, Jr. serves as a Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisor for a select group of high net worth families and their closely held businesses domiciled throughout the United States, Latin America & the Caribbean. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2000, Mr. Falla had an impressive 14 year financial and sales management career with two major multinationals in diverse assignments throughout Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. His extensive multinational experience and bi-cultural upbringing has given him great insight into the financial and planning needs of multinational corporate executives, global high net worth families, and their related businesses. Mr. Falla holds two degrees from the University of Miami where he graduated with distinction: an M.B.A. in International Business; and a B.A. Degree in Business Administration. He is actively involved in the community and previously served as a member of the Special Olympics Committee of Dade County.
Joan McCaughan, a graduate of Trinity College in Washington, DC, has a bachelor's degree in Economics, has been a licensed Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker since 1973. Ms. McCaughan and her two daughters, Jamie and Melissa, are 21 year residents of Key Biscayne. Since joining Coldwell Banker in 1995, Joan has been their Top Producer. She is also a Board member of the Greater Miami Tennis Foundation, the Treasurer of St. Agnes' "St. Vincent de Paul Society", a member of the Key Biscayne Yacht Club and an active Board member of the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce. Ms. McCaughan has worked on the Progressive Dinner Committee, the Welcome Basket Committee, the Relocation Committee and the recently formed Past President's Committee.
Sherry Reed is a Principal at Lancaster & Red and Audit Department Manager. She is an experienced professional with more than twelve years of public accounting experience. She has audit experience in all phases of audit field work and report preparation. Ms. Reed's experience in serving nonprofit clientele includes: captive insurance companies, numerous foundations, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, membership associations, voluntary health and welfare organizations and several service-provider agencies. She has served as the audit manager on hundreds of nonprofit engagements. Ms. Reed has been a featured speaker at nonprofit conferences and taught the Nonprofit update for the last seven years at the University of Denver School of Law. Ms. Reed is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and Colorado. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting. Ms. Reed serves as Treasurer for the Easters Seals of South Florida Board of Directors.
